Producer-distributor-hero Udhayanidhi, who has been picking and choosing his heroines to be careful not to repeat (except in case of Hansika and Nayantara against whom he had done two films each), has landed up a ‘prize catch’ in his next film.
Udhayanidhi’s next film also Nimir narjs the Kollywood entry of Mollywood actress Namitha Pramod. It has Parvathy Nair in a prominent role. M.S. Bhaskar, director Mahendran and Shanmugarajan have essayed significant roles in the film which is directed by noted Kollywood, Mollywood and Bollywood film-maker Priyadarshan. Nimir is to release in theatres next month.
Seenu Ramasamy’s next directorial venture would be Udhayanidhi’s next film after Nimir. Udhayanidhi had tweeted on his Twitter account a few days back expressing his happiness to be starring in a film directed by the national award-winning Seenu Ramasamy, who made last year’s super-hit film Dharma Durai which had ‘milky beauty’ Tamannaah as the heroine besides Aishwarya Rajesh and Srushti Dange.
The shoot of the untitled venture is to commence on 19th January, it has been announced. It is now confirmed that ‘milky beauty’ Tamannaah has been signed up to play Udhayanidhi’s heroine in the film, which would be her second film in Seenu Ramasamy’s direction. It is also reported that the film has been titled tentatively as Kanne Kalaimaane, the opening words of a hugely-popular Kamal-Sridevi song.
