Bollywood’s Akshay Kumar has lavished praise on Tamil superstar Rajinikanth by stating that Rajinikanth was among the ‘best living beings’ in the world.
Akshay was addressing the press comprising international newsmen in Dubai yesterday as he and the film’s crew, including Rajinikanth, Amy Jackson, producer Subashkaran of Lyca Productions, music wizard A.R. Rahman and director Shankar landed up in the Gulf city to attend a lavish audio-launch of 2.0 slated to be held this evening (Friday).
When queried about his experience of working with Rajinikanth, Akshay Kumar said “Rajini is one of the best living beings in the world and I shall never forget in my life the experience of having worked with him. His hardwork, sincerity and simplicity in reaching the zenith in his career are a lesson to all of us. I have to learn plenty from him for which I would have to work in at least 4-5 films with him,” he said.
On another note, he said that his role in the film was something which he had never done in his 25-year long career. “I had to apply make up for three-and-a-half hours each day to get ready for the film’s shoot,” he recalled.
