Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has lavished praise on his Kollywood counterpart and close friend Rajinikanth terming his as the ‘most humble person’ he had ever come across his life.
Amitabh turned 75 a few days back and shared his feelings, thoughts and view of issues of interest during the course of a lengthy interview to a leading daily. Bollywood celebrities and VIPs from many walks of life wished Amitabh Bachchan a long life as he turned 75 on 11th October (Wednesday). The birthday bash was held in a grand manner in Maldives.
“Rajini is an amazingly talented artiste; there can’t be a better company on the sets of a film’s shoot than Rajini who is a ‘pucca’ gentleman,” says the ‘Big B’, who had starred in quite a few films with Rajini including Andhaa Kaanoon, Geraftaar and Hum. “We are close friends; Rajini is a very hard-working, talented, God-fearing person and his confidence has reached him to the place where he is today,” he said.
“Despite his superstar status, Rajini had never let fame go to his head and is the most humble person I had ever met,” said Amitabh and also shared an info about Rajini which not many of his fans are aware of. It turns out that Rajini had been using till recently the first ‘Fiat’ car he purchased in the early eighties!
