Actress Sai Pallavi, the ‘Tamil girl’ who has been making waves in Mollywood and Tollywood, is finally making her much-awaited debut in her mother tongue Tamil.
The 25-year old actress (with a million dollar smile as her main asset) Kothagiri-born actress is essaying the protagonist in director A.L. Vijay’s upcoming directorial venture titled as Karu, which would be Vijay’s next film after last year’s Devy. Pallavi plays the mother of a 4-year old girl in what is hailed by film critics and her fans as a ‘bold move’ considering that this would be her first direct Tamil film.
The actress, whose many pimples in the 2015 Malyalam super-hit film Premam only helped her in looking more beautiful, is said to have wrapped the shooting schedule of Karu and has even started dubbing for her character in the film. The film’s promotional posters released recently depict Pallavi embracing the child as if it’s a foetus in her womb.
Sai Pallavi’s debut films in Malayalam (Premam) and Telugu (Fidaa) turned out to be super-duper hits and she looks all set to repeat the same feat with her Tamil audiences too!
