Responding to rumuors that she has been consciously staying away from Kannada films, actress Regina Cassandra has stated that she never thought of doing so in the past and won’t do it in future too.
The actress, who possesses an enviable hourglass figure besides a million-dollar smile, had starred opposite Sivakarthikeyan in Pandiraj’s Kedi Billa Killadi Ranga and later in Rajathanthiram. She was also spotted in recent months opposite Atharavaa in Gemini Ganeshanum Surulirajanum and opposite Udhayanidhi in Saravanan Irukka Bayamen.
Regina also has Selvaraghavan’s Nenjam Marappadhillai which has faced quite a lot of delay in its theatrical release. She also plays the heroine opposite Vishnu Vishal in Silukkuvarpatti Singam and is part of the crew of Venkat Prabhu’s Party. In the meantime, she is also slated to play a prominent role in the Kannada period venture Muniratna Kurukshetra which is produced at a whopping cost of Rs.100 crores.
She plays the wife of Duryodhan in the above-said film, it is reported. With just a solitary Kannada film on hand, Regina has asserted that she won’t shun Kannada films which provided her the chance to make her debut as heroine several years back.
