Actor Suriya was rescued by the Seattle Police in U.S. when the fun-ride that he undertook across Pacific Ocean turned not-so-forgettable with the boat in which he was travelling developing repairs and stopping mid-seas.
Suriya, who is busy shooting for his upcoming Vignesh Shivan-directed Thaana Serndha Koottam opposite Keerthy Suresh, landed up in U.S. a few days back to take part in various events/activities across the country to drum up funds for the ‘Agaram Foundation’ run by him to finance the education of brilliant yet economically deprived students in Chennai and elsewhere in Tamil Nadu.
Suriya was in Seattle on Thursday and prior to taking part in a fund-raising event, he wanted to go for a fun-ride across the Pacific Ocean on a high-speed boat. To his horror, he found that the boat developed repairs and stopped mid-seas a few minutes after he started his voyage.
An SOS was sent to the local police who rushed in their rescue boat, approached the boat in which Suriya was left stranded mid-seas and safely rescued him before bringing him back to the shores.
