Actress Bhawana, who underwent a personal tragedy early this year and which was reported widely (and unnecessarily) in the print and television media, has asserted that she would continue to star in films even after her marriage.
The Deepavali and Asal actress, who debuted in Tamil films with Mysskin’s Chiththiram Pesudhadi many years back, got engaged to Sandalwood film producer Naveen a few months back. The couple is to tie the nuptial knot and exchange wedding vows in January next year.
Celebrities and others have lauded Bhavana’s will-power and in her ability to face the crisis even as she appears to have come out of it completely. Speaking to newsmen recently, Bhavana said that the possibility of quitting films didn’t arise as she continued to be in films even after her marriage with Naveen.
“Naveen is someone who has understood me very well; he realizes what are in my list of priorities. He is someone who treats women with respect and dignity and I’m sure he would support all my endeavours. As such, he won’t disagree to my continuing in films after our marriage. I love him a lot,” concludes Bhavana.
