The press show of Jyothika’s Magalir Mattum has happened on Wednesday in Chennai. Though it’s too early to publish the review, sources say that Magalir Mattum is not up to the level of its director Bramma’s first film ‘Kuttram Kadithal’ or Jyothika’s previous hit ’36 Vayadhinile’.
However, Magalir Mattum is not a bad film either. The film is an emotional drama and the performances of Jyothika and Urvashi are the major highlight. Also, Ghibran’s music is the film’s biggest strength, especially his songs and background score.
The film has pace issues and the flashback sequences is the biggest drawback, which might not entertain youngster but family audiences might like the film for the emotional sequences.
