Tollywood actor Rana Daggubati, the menacing ‘Bhallala Deva’ of Tollywood shoman S.S. Rajamouli’s colossal hit films Baahubali and Baahubali 2, is all set to make his debut in Bollywood with an upcoming film titled as Vijli which goes to floors in 2018.
Rana has just delivered a solo-hit film as hero with the super-success of his latest film Nene Raju Nene Mantri in which he was paired up opposite the curvaceous Kajal Aggarwal. The Hollywood film which makes Rana’s entry into the international film industry is to be produced by the London Digital Movie & TV Studios (LDM) for which Rana would also function as the brand ambassador in Asia.
The 32-year old 6’ 3.5” tall actor, who starred in Ajith Kumar’s super-hit film Arrambam (2013) and was spotted in guest appearances in Bangalore Naatkal and Inji Iduppazhagi, would soon have the Tamil dubbed version of his Telugu hit film Nene Raju Nene Mantri which is to releases with the title of Naan Aanaiyittal (title of a popular film starring the legendary MGR).
The script of the Hollywood film is said to be about a ship which sunk in the Arabian Sea off Porbandar in Gujarat in 1984. The film, which might become India’s answer to the Titanic, is to go to floors early next year as the other cast members and technicians are being finalized.
