Actor Gauthak Karthik, who has had a productive year so far with the release of three films – Muthuramalingam, Rangoon and Ivan Thanthiran – would have his fourth release in the form of Hara Hara Mahadevaki which is to release on 29th September.
The film was to earlier release on Deepavali (18th October) along with other Deepavali releases such as Karthi-Rakul Preet Singh’s Theeran Adhigaaram Ondru, Vikranth’s Nenji Thunivirundhal and Vijay’s Mersal and another film titled as Solli Vidavaa. However, the makers have now decided to opt out of the Deepavali race.
Produced jointly by Blue Coast Picures and Thangam Cinemas, the recently-released trailer of Hara Hara Mahadevaki has met with huge response. Anirudh Ravichander released the trailer of the film which has Gautham Karthik and Nikki Galrani coming together as on-screen pair for the first time. Others in the cast include Satish, Karunakaran, Rajendran, Ravi Mariya, Bala Saravanan, R.K. Suresh, Mayilsamy, ‘Namo’ Narayanan and ‘Ganja’ Karuppu.
Santhosh P. Jayakumar has directed the film which has music by Balamurali Balu. It may be noted that Gnanavel Raja’s Studio Green acquired the film’s release and distribution rights long before the film’s shoot was wrapped up. The distributors have decided not to be part of Deepavali race and are releasing the film 3 weeks ahead of Deepavali.
