Superstar Rajinikanth is likely to have another elaborate meeting with his fans in Chennai in the second week of September amid rumours that he would spell out the details of his political entry.
Rajini’s 5-day long meeting – which was actually an interactive photo-session – with his fans at his Raghavendra Kalyana Mandapam in Chennai became a huge topic as he broached the topic of politics and hinted that he might take to politics in future as the ‘system’ needs to be corrected in the face of rampant corruption.
Though Rajini didn’t say anything about politics after that and started to shoot for his upcoming film Kaala Karikaalan, political observers and critics had read deep into Rajini’s statement, listing the pros and cons of Rajini’s expected political entry. It has now been announced that though Rajini’s is busy with the shooting schedule of Kaala, he would meet his fans for the second time this year in the second week of September.
Those running Rajini’s fans clubs in cities and Districts, however, feigned no knowledge about such a meeting. Political observers are of the view that Rajini may make a categorical announcement about his entry in politics when he meets his fans in 10 days from now.
