Director V.Z. Durai released the audio of an upcoming film titled as Kaadhalin Deepam Ondru (first few words of a hugely popular superstar Rajini song from Thambikku Endha Ooru, one of his many hit films in the early eighties).
Directed by debutant G.K., who won many awards for his short film Asareeri, the film has a debuting hero in the form Suresh Nallusamy, a Japan-based industrialist who has also doubled up as the film’s producer.
G.K. is also one of the assistant directors of an upcoming film titled as Othaikku Othai which stars Atharvaa and Sri Divya in the lead. GK is confident of success of Kaadhalin Deepam Ondru which narrates not a typical, oft-heard story but a story which is more practical and realistic in nature. “Suresh’s acting was really good and would be lauded by all when the film releases in theatres,” he assures.
Janani Rathinam plays the heroine while Deepa Natarajan essays a prominent role. In a film which has many debutants as artistes, Anton Jeffrin has scored the music of the film while Praveen Kumar has cinematographed it. Lyrics have been penned by Natchiammai Vijay.
