Stunning-looking Tollywood actress Raashi Khanna is all set to make her debut as heroine in Tamil films by pairing up opposite young gun Atharvaa in the upcoming ‘neo noir’ crime-thriller Imaikkaa Nodigal which has Nayantara in a major role.
Produced by C. Jayakumar’s Cameo Films, Imaikkaa Nodigal is directed by R. Ajay Gnanamuthu, who debuted as a promising 26-year old director with the 2015 hit film Demonte Colony. Picture-perfect Raashi, one of the frontline heroines in Telugu, makes her debut in Tamil films with the film which has Bollywood’s Anurag Kashyap and Vijay Sethupathi in prominent cameos.
A stunt sequence in the film, filmed in Bangalore recently under the supervision of Lee Honyiu of Hong Kong, is said to have come out as ‘world-class’. Known for his stunt sequences involving bicycles, Lee worked in tandem with ‘Stunt’ Siva in filming the above-said stunt sequence. Gnanamuthu assures that the sequence was especially relevant as it involved an upcoming and promising talent like Atharvaa.
“Befitting the film’s title, we are sure the film won’t allow the audiences to even blink their eyes as they might miss watching a thrilling moment,” says Gnanamuthu. Hiphop Tamizha is the film’s music director.
