Remember Akhil of Kalloori and Angaadi Theru fame? The actor, who is talented and yet short of film-offers, has signed up an interestingly-titled film Engada Irundheenga Ivvalavu Naala.
Produced by the duo of Thirumurugan and Balakrishnan on behalf of their production house TN75KK Creations, Engada Irundheenga Ivvalavu Naala has Akhil romancing as many as four heroines in the form of Sathuranga Vettai fame Ishara Nair, Kamarkattu fame Rahana besides newbies Sahana and Krishnapriya. Others in the cast include Mottai Rajendran, Manobala, Balasingh, Sivasankar, Kausalya and Shakeela.
Raheem Babu is the film’s cinematographer while Varshan, who jointly scored the music of S.P. Jananthan’s Purampokku Engira Podhuvudamai, composes the film’s music. Suresh Urs would be editing the film which is directed by Kevin who also pens the story, screenplay and direction.
“Hundreds throng Chennai each day from other District for making their careers in various sectors; most of them want to make it big in the entertainment industry. Akhil plays a wannabe hero who doesn’t get a good break in films but finally gets his village chieftain Mottai Rajendran to produce his debuting film. Films are not always profit-giving option and we have highlighted this in detail,” Kevil explains.
