Dream comes true: Aishwarya Rajesh has films opposite Dhanush and Vikram

Finally, ‘Tamil actress Aishwarya Rajesh’s dream of pairing up opposite leading and ‘big’ heroes has become a reality. The Tamil-speaking actress now has films opposite national award-winning actors Dhanush and Vikram.

Ironically enough, Tamil-speaking (on-screen) actresses have become a rarity in Tamil films. Aishwarya, Dhansika, Sripriyanka and Anjali have dubbed for their roles in films in their respective voices and the talented ‘milky beauty’ Tamannaah is the recent prestigious addition to the list as despite her Punjabi backdrop, Tamannaah speaks very well in Tamil as witnessed in her last few films.

After playing the heroine (in a deglamorized role of a mother of two boys) in the 2015 film Kakka Muttai produced by Dhanush (in association with Vetrimaaran), Aishwarya now gets to pair up opposite him in Vetrimaaran’s upcoming triology Vada Chennai as she now steps into the shoes of Amala Paul as Dhanush’s heroine after Amala walked out of the film recently citing ‘call-sheet’ dates (or the lack of it)!

Andrea Jeremiah would be the other heroine in the film, which has been in the making for a long time now. Aishwarya also plays Vikram’s heroine in Dhuruva Natchitaram which would be Vikram’s first-ever film to be directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon.

She also has three other films on hand besides a film each in Malayalam and Hindi. Popular model-turned-actor Arjun Ramphal has cast her in his upcoming production venture Daddy which also marks Aishwarya’s debut in Bollywood.
