Producer-director-actor Samuthirakani has warned critics not to say anything ‘bad’ about Baahubali 2 while penning reviews about the film as it was beyond criticism.
Samuthirakkani is among the many celebrities ‘smitten’ by the Baahubali 2 bug as the sequel to the 2015 film Baahubali released last Friday (28th April) in cinemas across the globe. Critics, movie-goers and fans of the lead actors/actresses have lauded the film, terming it as the ‘best ever sequel film’ made in India.
On its first day itself, Baahubali 2 collected more than Rs.121 crores the world over and it continued its winning run by collecting a further Rs.200 crores on the second day. Directors, produces, actress/actresses, technicians and those from within and outside the entertainment industry have been generous in lauding the making of the sequel by S.S. Rajamouli.
Tweeting about his Baahubali 2 experience, Samuthrakani said “It can be viewed 100 times in theatres; an excellent effort!” He added that the film was beyond comparison or criticism. “If anybody said anything bad about Baahubali 2 in their reviews, they would have to reckon with me first!” Samuthirakkani has said.
Saluting Rajamouli as the ‘ultimate film-maker’, Samuthirakani has said that Rajamouli’s 5-year long penance has finally paid off.
