Anandhakrishnan, who made the Bobby Simha-starrer Metro last year, has greeted fans and movie-goers with skepticism on the eve of the first anniversary of the film’s release in theatres.
Starring Bobby and Sirish in the lead, Metro was released in theatres on 01st April last year. The director faced hell as he had to run from pillar to post in getting the film cleared by the Censors.
“I wish everyone a happy ‘Fool’s Day’ on 01st April; I do so as I was mad to look like a fool by the Censors who have not yet given me the requisite clearance to air the film on television. The pain and agony I’m undergoing right now is indescribable.
“Either the Censor Board ought to function in an unbiased manner which is almost ruled out; or, I should change my style of narration which is also not possible. However, I’m soon having a meeting with the Censors and I hope fans’ support would guide me in future,” Anandhakrishnan’s Tweet said thus.
He also added that he hoped to make another film soon.
