Actress-producer Neetu Chandra has asserted that she wasn’t a ‘party animal’ unlike most actresses.
Neetu, who sizzled in an ‘item number’ in Suriya’s Singam 3 a few months back, returned to playing the lead role in the recently-released Vaigai Express opposite RK.
The Patna-born actress, who looks much younger to her 32 years of age, had essayed dual roles (of Radhika and Jyothika) in the film. Now that the film has been declared as ‘hit’ and her performance has been lauded by critics, Neetu is over the moon now.
She has also been roped in as one of the three heroines in Adik Ravichandran’s upcoming Simbu-starrer Anbanavan Asaradhavan Adangadhavan. The actress, who is a martial arts expert and holds a fourth Dan black-belt in Taekwondo, says that she is very keen in maintaining her shape and health. “I only eat nutritious food and am not a party animal. As such, I avoid parties. I also don’t smoke or drink,” she says.
Reacting to recent ‘Suchileaks’ wherein photos/videos involving prominent artistes were released on the Net, Neetu said that she rarely goes to parties. On a personal level, she appealed to all women and girls to exercise every day. “Exercising at least for an hour each day does wonders to the body. Eat nutritious food and drink lots and lots of water,” Neetu concludes.
