Censor report from Singapore has revealed the main plot of KV Anand’s Kavan starring Vijay Sethupathi. The report read: “’Kavan’ revolves around Tilak, a television show host and his team who boldly bring to light the corrupt operations of a television channel”
The film is rated PG13 with an advisory of ‘Some Violence’.
Explaining the details, the report added “The film contains some scenes involving police shooting in which some blood spurts are seen from gunshot wounds on the chest and arm of running victims, with one man getting killed.
The scenes can be contained under a PG13 rating, where the Classification Guidelines state “moderate portrayals of violence with some details, may be allowed, if justified by context. Portrayals of violence can include some infliction of pain and injury but should not be detailed, intense or prolonged”.
Kavan will be hitting the screens on March 31.
