It is reported that in view of release of choreographer-turned-filmmaker Raghava Lawrence’s Motta Siva Ketta Siva in theatres last Thursday, two other films – Natty’s Engitta Modhadhe and G.V. Prakash Kumar’s Bruce Lee – couldn’t make it to the theatres as per schedule on Friday. After a long delay and many issues involved in its release, Motta Siva Ketta Siva finally hit the screens on Thursday.
Starring cinematographer-turned-hero Natraj, Sanchita Shetty, Rajaji and Parvathy Nair in the lead and directed by debutant Ramu Chellappa, Engitta Modhadhe had been in the making for a long time now while music director-turned-hero G.V. Prakah Kumar’s Bruce Lee is also directed by a debutant Prasanth Pandirau. Incidentally enough, both Chellappa and Prasanth were producer-director Pandiraj’s assistants.
The two films’ shoot commenced at varying months in the past but were slated to hit the screens last Friday (10th March) but the unscheduled and sudden theatrical release of Lawrence’s Motta Siva Ketta Siva on 09th March put paid to the hopes of releasing the two films in theatres the very next day.
As per revised schedule, it is expected that Bruce Lee may release this Friday (17th March) while Engitta Modhadhe may release next Friday (24th March). The crew members of these films are only hoping that no other major film releases in between!
