Superstar Rajinikanth’s younger daughter Soundarya ran into trouble yesterday when the car she was driving rammed into a stationary auto-rickshaw in Chennai. Timely intervention by her brother-in-law Dhanush ensured that she wasn’t mobbed by the locals.
It turns out that Soundarya was driving her car early in the morning yesterday when she rammed into a stationary auto-rickshaw near Alwarpet. Driver of the vehicle, Mani, was injured as he was inside his vehicle sleeping. A huge crowd collected in no time and gheraoed Soundary’s car.
When they realized that Rajini’s daughter Soundarya was inside the car, the crowds grew restive. Soundarya called Dhanush who reached the spot within a few minutes. It is reported that Dhanush played the trouble-shooter as he agreed to pay to the auto-driver the cost of repairing his vehicle and for his treatment.
After Dhanush’s assurances, the locals let Soundarya go from the place. After mutual agreement, it was decided that no case would be filed against Soundarya who has been directing Dhanushi n her second directorial venture Velaiilla Pattathari 2.
