National award-winning actor ‘Chiyaan’ Vikram has dispelled rumorus that the shoot of his upcoming Gautham Vasudev Menon-directed Dhuruva Natchathiram has been suspended. “The shoot is very much on, guys,” he assures.
Sections of the press reported a few days back stating that owing to ‘misunderstanding’ which had crept in between Vikram and Menon, the film’s shoot had been suspended. It is in this backdrop that Vikram’s assurance assumes significance.
Vikram is pitted opposite Tollywood’s Ritu Varma, who makes her debut in Tamil as heroine, in the film which brings together the talented Vikram and the mercurial Menon for the first-time to work together. Suriya was to star in the script a few years back but after he opted out of the film following differences with Menon, the latter cast Vikram in the lead and launched the film’s shoot late last year.
Stating that the film’s shoot is very much on, Vikram adds that the film’s next schedule of shoot is to commence on Saturday (25th February).
