It has been reported from Tollywood that ‘showman’ S.S. Rajamouli’s next film after Baahubali 2 would be another ‘biggie’ as it brings together the three reigning superstars of Tamil, Malayalam and Hindi film industries.
Starring Prabhas, Anushka, Tamannaah, Rana Daggubati and Sathyaraj in the lead, Rajamouli’s Baahubali 2 (sequel to his 2015 colossal hit film Baahubali) is all set to hit the screens worldwide on 28th April. The film’s release has become one of the most-awaited events of the year, if one goes by the response generated by the film’s first-look posters released recently.
It now turns out that Rajamouli’s next film, which would be another mega-venture, would be based on epic Mahabharat and would have superstar Rajinikanth, Mollywood’s Mohanlal and Bollywood’s Aamir Khan in the lead. The report, however, hasn’t been re-confirmed even if it says that the title and other artistes/technicians to work in the film were being finalized.
Rajini’s latest film Kabalai, which released in theatres in July last year, turned out to be a super-duper hit film. Mohanlal’s latest film Pulimurugan broke a few records on its way to becoming the first-ever Malayalam film to collect more than Rs.100 crores at the box-office while Aamir Khan’s Dangal, which had him essaying a role befitting his 50-plus age, collected more than Rs.700 crores at the box-office.
The coming together of the trio is sure to excite their millions of fans worldwide!
