Raghava Lawrence, who has been doing a lot of social welfare programmes, has delivered yet another heartening gesture.
“I friends and fans, I just saw this post of a baby who is in need of help for an operation. I am just returning from Salem. I had gone to meet Lokesh’s parents. Lokesh is the boy who passed away during the Jallikattu protest.
I am on my way to Chennai now. I will go to the hospital and speak to the doctor first thing in the morning and will do what I can for the baby. I have talked to the concerned person as well. I will try my level best to do what I can. I need your prayers for this baby,” he posted on his Facebook page.
Within few hours, Lawrence helped with the treatment of another baby in Kamakoti Child Trust hospital.
“Hi dear Friends and Fans! I visited the kanchi Kamakoti Child Trust hospital today morning and met Dr. Srinivas who is treating baby Dhanushree. Doctor has explained all the details and has given hope to us that she will be fine post surgery.
I am going to contribute towards the surgery. Those who wish to do so please contribute and those who cannot please send in your blessings and prayers. Thanks to all those who reached out and prayed for baby Dhanushree this far.”
