It is reported in Kollywood circles that a clash between national award-winning actor Dhanush and ace director Gautham Vasudev Menon has stalled the on-going shoot of Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta, their first filmtogether.
Dhanush is paired up opposite debutant actress Megha Akash in the film, whose first-look posters and teasers were released in the last week of December. They impressed Dhanush’s fans and movie-goers as they had an element of intrigue in them as to what could be Dhanush’s role(s) in the film.
Now that Dhanush is busy with the shoot of his debut directorial venture Power Pandi and his Velaiyilla Pattathari sequel, it doesn’t appear that the shoot of Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta is proceeding as per schedule. Menon is said to be very busy with his Dhuruva Natchathiram, which has Vikram and newcomer Ritu Varma (who has replaced debutant Anu Emmanuel) in the lead.
Shoot of Dhanush’s Vada Chennai is also proceeding, albeit slowly. It now turns out that issues of ‘coordination’ between Menon and Dhanush appeared during the last schedule of the film’s shoot forcing Menon to concentrate on his Vikram-starrer. In all probability, the abandoned shoot is to commence only after summer holidays.
