Anupama Parameshwaran, who made a promising debut as heroine opposite the national award-winning actor Dhanush in his latest film Kodi which released in theatres towards end of last year, is said to have lost out on an offer to pair up opposite top Tollywood hero Ram Charan Teja in a new untitled film.
Anupama debuted as heroine in films with the 2015 super-hit Malayalam film Premam, is busy with her projects in Telugu and Tamil as well. Unfortunately, the 20-year old actress hasn’t yet signed up any Tamil film despite putting in an admirable performance in Kodi. Trisha dominated Kodi albeit in a negative role and with the aid of a dubbed voice, which Trisha has been practicing for many years now.
A few days back, Anupama had tweeted stating that she would soon be pairing up opposite Ram Charan Teja in a new Telugu film which would be going to the floors soon. However, her happiness turned out to be short-lived as it is now apparent that she has been shown the exit door from the film’s cast.
It is said that the director thought the ‘inexperienced’ Anupama might not be able to take up the ‘heavy’ role in the film. Tweeting on her Twitter account, Anupama conceded that she indeed faced a huge set back. “I could feel that I had been kept away from a few good things in my life; but, invariably, those have always led me to better opportunities!” she said.
