Actress Srusiti Dange, the dimpled beauty of Kollywood, hopes to create a record of sorts by starring in as many ast ten films in various languages this year.
It may be recalled that the actress, whose recent film Achchamindri has been lauded by critics and movie-goers, was appreciated for her brief yet powerful role in last year’s Vijay Sethupathi-Seenu Ramasamy’s venture Dharma Durai as well.
“I have been struggling hard to achieve these successes. Thankfully, my last four films have done well at the box-office, giving me an opportunity to become a frontline heroine. I’m very happy and hope to see at least 10 of my films in various languages releasing in theatres this year. My Malayalam film, directed by Major Ravi, has me pairing up opposite megastar Mohanlal for the first time.
“I can’t wait for the project to go to the floors and was mighty excited. Titled as 1971 – Beyond The Border, the film marks my debut in Malayalam films. I play a Tamil-speaking girl in the film which is being made simultaneously in Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi, Telugu and Kannada. I’m sure 2017 would turn out to be mine,” smiles Srushti, her famed dimples well in place!
