‘Singam’ actor Suriya has earlier criticized PETA is the major reason for imposing ban against Tamil Nadu’s traditional sport Jallikattu.
As a befitting reply , PETA’s Nikunj Sharma lashed out at Suriya saying, “It’s no coincidence that Suriya decided to speak only when his film S3 is about to release. During illegal jallikattu events recently held, both bulls and humans have lost their lives.
To use a cruel spectacle that routinely causes injuries and death, and which has been condemned as illegal by the highest court in our country for movie publicity is in extremely poor taste”.
Now Suriya’s legal team has issued a notice to PETA and asked for an unconditional apology within seven days. If PETA doesn’t reply to the notice, strict actions will be taken by Suriya’s legal team.
