After his much-admired performance as a cop in the form of Dhuruvangal Padhinaaru, last year’s final film to be hitting the screens, actor Rahman has committed himself to star in the lead role in yet another film with a strong script in Pagadi Aattam.
Debutant Karthik Naren’s direction and Rahman’s casual portrayal resulted in the success of Dhuruvangal Padhinaaru, which was lauded by critics and movie-goers. Rahman’s next venture Pagadi Aattam is about the interest evinced by people of late in taking to social networking sites for spreading awareness on all issues.
Rahman’s role has been scripted to probe the problems faced by women who become the target of attack/defamation on many social networking sites. Rahman plays an investigating cop in the film which is directed by Ram K. Chandran. Karthik Raja, eldest son of Maestro Ilaiyaraaja, scores the film’s music.
Krishnasamy is the cinematographer of the film which is produced by the trio of T.S. Kamaraj, A. Gunasekar and T. Subash Cnahdrabose.
