The ‘first-look’ posters of Vikram’s upcoming Gautham Vasudev Menon-directed Dhuruva Natchathiram were out yesterday.
Vikram has been in the film industry for close to three decades now and gets to star in his first film directed by ace director Gautham Vasudev Menon. As reported earlier, Dhuruva Natchathiram was to star Suriya in the lead but for some reasons, the project remained shelved for long before Menon announced late last year that he would be reviving the project with Vikram in the lead.
Menon had a solitary release last year in Simbu-Manjima Mohan’s Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada which did very well at the box-office.
He is now gearing up for his next release Enai Nokki Paayum Thotta which has national award-winning actor Dhanush and newcomer Megha Akash in the lead. His next project as a director would be the Virkam-starrer Dhuruva Natchathiram.
The first-look posters show Vikram, clad in a majestic gray-coloured suit, sporting a salt-n-pepper look as he glances through a copy of ‘The Wall Street Journal’. As Vikram reportedly plays his age for the first time in a full-length film, Vikram’s fans are only too eager to watch the film, whose first-look poster is accompanied by the caption ‘Countdown to release begins today….’!
