Senior actresses Sri Divya and Radika, who are currently very much a part of television community, have lashed out at director Suraj for his insensitive remarks in a recent video interview where he says showing acting skills should be confined to the small screen and commercial films should be for heroines to turn glamorous.
“with this mouth of yrs u will not get an opportunity even in yr child’s phone camera,tv naa kamiya? we have the finest of actors performing before the small screen…any clue?Adhu enna Ava ivannu pesaradu?mariyadaiya Tamizh pesatheriyada? Well Mr…..what ever your name is…is yr movie screened in an empty house?even then u should not fetch such cheap publicity …STOP IT OK? Wish some people realise a mother,a sister a daughter are all women pls learn to respect them &u wil automatically respect all women,” tweeted Sri Priya.
Radhika lauded Tamannah and Nayanthara for coming up with their open statements against Suraj. “well said tamannah, he was so crude and downright degrading. I have not heard anything so crude in my career. I think he is trying to create publicity for a flop film,” tweeted Radhika.
