‘Milky beauty’ Tamannaah is very confident that the upcoming Baahubali sequel, which is slated to hit the screens during next April, won’t be affected by the leakage of the sequel’s 8-minute long war footage on the net apparently by some miscreants.
A couple of weeks back, the war sequences of the upcoming film released on the net, taking film-goers and netizens by surprise. The police arrested a person from Vizag for reportedly leaking the footage purposely on the net. Tamannaah, who played a stellar role in the prequel and who again plays a major role in the sequel, is confident that the leakage of the footage would hardly affect the film’s box-office outcome.
Starring Tamannaah, Anushka Shetty, Ramya Krishnan, Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj and Sudeep, Baahubali created huge record at the box-office when it released late last year. S.S. Rajamouli is now making the sequel with the same star cast and plans to release the film on 28th April next year.
“Though it is shocking that some footage has been leaked on the net, it’s only a very minor portion of the film and would hardly have an effect on the film’s box-office showing when it releases next year in theatres. I thing it (the leakage) would only act in favour of the film and not in an adverse manner as the curiosity element is only going up with each passing day,” says Tamannaah.
“Personally, I feel I’m blessed to have been a part of the the prequel as well as the sequel as a regional film has started making waves internationally,” she adds.
