Trisha’s disappointment in Kollywood continues as it seems that she was not in the reckoning at all to pair up opposite superstar Rajnikanth in his upcoming film to be directed by Pa. Ranjith, who directed Rajini in the super-duper hit film Kabali a few months back.
After the colossal hit film Kabali, Ranjith announced a few weeks back that his next film would again feature Rajini in the lead but said that it won’t be a sequel to Kabali. Dhanush, Rajini’s son-in-law, stepped in and announced that he would be producing the film under his banner ‘Wunderbar Films’.
It was reported in sections of the press that either Trisha or Amala Pau (heroines of Dhanush’s Kodi and Velaiyilla Pattathari in that order) would be pairing up opposite the ‘man of the masses’. It was also said that if Trisha got the offer, her long-standing wish to pair up opposite Rajini in at least one film would finally be fulfilled.
However, it may not be the case; Trisha has reacted to those reports and revealed that she was not approached by anybody with an offer to pair up opposite Rajini in his upcoming film. “If it happens, it would be very good; as of now, I have not been approached with any such offer,” Trisha said.
