M. Rajesh, the director of the upcoming film Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru, has assured that the film would be a laugh-riot and would make people laugh away their worries caused by the Central Govt.’s recent decision to demonetize Rs.500 and Rs.1000 currency notes.
‘Silver Jubilee’ film of producer T. Siva’s Ammma Creations, Kadavul Irukaan Kumaru stars music director-turned hero G.V. Prakash Kumar, Nikki Galrani, Anandhi and Prakash Raj in lead roles. It is scheduled to hit the screens in Chennai and elsewhere in the State tomorrow (18th November).
“We decided to release the film tomorrow instead of last week mainly because of the money issues faced by the people. In fact, we were to release it on Thursday (today) but we decided to have a ‘traditional’ release.
The film would be a perfect laugh-riot and would make people laugh out loud in theatres, briefly forgetting all the troubles they faced during the past few days in getting their old currency notes exchanged.
“We release the film in 400 screens, almost like a film starring a frontline hero. This is also the first time that a film starring G.V. Prakash Kumar is releasing in this many number of halls,” Rajesh said and hoped that the film would hit the ‘bull’s eye’ at the box-office!
