Bollywood actor Sudanshu Pandey, who plays a prominent role in superstar Rajinikanth’s upcoming film 2.0 directed by Shankar, has spilled the beans by stating that it was he who was the main antagonist in the film and not Akshay Kumar.
Sudanshu, spotted a few years back in Kollywood when he rubbed shoulders with Ajith as the antagonist in Billa II, has been speaking to the press, much against Shankar’s wishes and directions, about the film and his role in it. As reported earlier, sequel to Shankar-Rajini’s earlier film Enthiran: The Robot, 2.0 stars Rajini, Amy Jackson, Akshay Kumar and Sudanshu Pandey in the lead.
It was earlier reported that Akshay played the son of scientist Bohra (played by Danny Denzongpa in the prequel), who dies in Enthiran. However, speaking to a film-based website, Pandey has clarified that it was he who played Bohra’s son in the film. “I’m the main antagonist and not Akshay Kumar; we have stunt sequences between us which has been filmed very well.
“I don’t have fight sequences with superstar Rajinikanth but have some sequences with him. I’m the villain but not the usual villain witnessed in films,” said Pandey who lauded Shankar saying he looked more like a scientist in his thought-process.
