Actress Manjima Mohan, who was reportedly upset at the undue delay in the release in theatres of her debut Tamil film Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada wherein she is paired up opposite the mercurial Simbu, is finally happy that the film is hitting the screens across the State on Friday (11th November).
After starring in many films as child artiste in Mollywood, Manjima made her debut as heroine in Malayalm films with last year’s Oru Vadakkan Selfie. She is also making her debut in Tollywood as heroine and even before the release of her first film directed by Gautham Vasudev Menon, Manjima has been signed up to star in at least 5 films!
The 23-year old Thiruvananthapuram-born actress is the daughter of popular Mollywood cinematographer Vipin Mohan. Gautham has brought her to Tamil with Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada which missed its release in theatres at least twice in the past due to various reasons.
“I was upset with the delay in the film’s release but my father explained the reasons to me in detail after which I got convinced. I also spoke to Menon and got to know more reasons behind the delay. I feel an actress has to learn to be patient,” smiles Manjima who became an actress against the wishes of her father though her mother supported her idea to become a full-fledged actress!
