Parvathy Nair, the actress who sizzled briefly in Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal and Kamal Haasan’s Uttama Villain, is back in Kollywood with not just one but two films i.e. Enkitta Mothathe and Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga.
The 24-year old actress also has a few Malayalam films on hands. “I have consciously limited my work as I don’t want to keep starring in many films simultaneously. I want to make an impact on the audiences and don’t want to be seen in ‘blink-n-miss’ kind of roles or ‘item number’ songs.
“I have Enkitta Mothathe opposite Natty and R. Parthiepan’s Koditta Idangalai Nirappuga opposite Shantanoo. Simran plays a major role in the film. I have a substantial role in the film and play myself – a Malayalee girl. I just follow what Parthiepan Sir telles me before the shoot and try to repeat the same during shoot.
“I don’t need prompting to utter my dialogues as I understand each word I utter on-screen,” says Parvathy and adds that she sticks with her surname of ‘Nair’ as there is already a Parvathy (of ‘Poo’ and ‘Bangalore Naatkal’ fame).
