It has been reported that national award winning actor and producer Dhanush’s upcoming film would have him romancing as many as three heroines.
Dhanush, who is awaiting the release of his political adventure Kodi in theatres this Deepavali (next week), has been signed up by his sister-in-law and film-maker Soundarya to play the lead role in her second directorial venture after the 2014 hit film Kochadaiiyaan.
Titled as Nilavukku En Mel Ennadi Kobam, it was to have an entire newcomer cast but superstar Rajinikanth reportedly advised his younger daughter to rope in Dhanush to play the hero as the film’s script had plenty of ‘scope’ for the protagonist to perform. The dutiful daughter that she is, Soundarya signed up Dhanush to star in the film.
It now turns out that the trio of actress in Bollywood’s Sonam Kapoor (who had already paired up opposite Dhanush in his debut Hindi film Raanjhanaa in 2013), Kajal Aggarwal and Manjima Mohan (heroine of Gautham Menon’s upcoming film Achcham Enbadhu Madamaiyada opposite Simbu) would be essaying Dhanush’s heroines in the film which would be directed by ‘Kalaipuli’ S. Thanu.
Dhanush would also be penning the story, screenplay and dialogues of the film.
