It is said that Nayantara’s fans were not amused by actor Karthi’s statement that Nayantara’s role in the film is limited only to 30 minutes.
Pitting Nayantara and Sri Divya opposite Karthi for the first time, the first-look posters of Kashmora (released a few days back) have already created huge excitement and expectations among Karthi’s fans. Directed by Gokul of Rowthiram and Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara fame, Kaashmora has music by Santhosh Narayanan. It has been cinematographed by Om Prakash and edited by V.J. Sabu Joseph.
Set to release on theatres on 28th October during Deepavali, the film’s script remains a mystery but the first-look posters of Karthi and Nayantara give a hint that it might be a period-type venture. The trailer of the film comprising war sequences has already become a huge hit with movie-goers. Nayan, as she always does, stayed away from the audio-launch of the film held a few days back.
Speaking at the audio-launch, Karthi let out a secret by stating that Nayan’s role in the film was limited to not more than 30-minute duration. Keeping in view Nayantara’s stardom as the unofficial ‘No.1’ heroine in Kollywood, observers feel that Karthi would have done well not to have spoken about this as there is a huge set of audiences who flock to theatres merely to watch and appreciate Nayan’s beauty!
