Sources close to the crew of music director-turned-hero Vijay Antony’s upcoming film Saithaan say that Vijay Antony has been ghost-directing the film, much to the disappointment of the film’s director Pradeep Krishnamoorthy.
It is said that Vijay Antony’s behavior has undergone drastic change in the past few months ever since the super-success of his latest film Pichaikkaran. The fact that the film’s Telugu-dubbed version ran very well in theatres and completed a 100-day run has made him a ‘hot property’ in Tollywood as well.
The shoot of Saithaan has entered its final phase and only now the cold war that had been brewing between Vijay Antony and Pradeep has come to light. Though Vijay Antony was highly impressed by Pradeep’s script when he started work on the film a few months back, he reportedly suggested some changes mid-way through the shoot which weren’t taken casually by the director.
Vijay Antony’s insertions literally changed the original script narrated by Pradeep which upset him. To add fuel to fire, Vijay Antony reported conducted a schedule of the film’s shoot involving filming of ‘flashback sequences’ without the knowledge of Pradeep which has taken the sting out of the director’s enthusiasm to make the film!
