Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s rural mass entertainer Bairavaa has been sold for a record price. Sources say that Sri Green Productions have snapped the Tamil Nadu theatrical rights of the film have been sold for nearly 43 crores, which is the third highest price for a Vijay film after Theri and Kaththi.
Directed by Bharathan of Azhagiya Tamizh Magan fame, the film has Keerthy Suresh playing the female lead and Santhosh Narayanan is scoring the music.
Touted to be a mass commercial entertainer, the film also has Jagapathi Babu and Daniel Balaji playing the two baddies. The film is slated for a grand Pongal 2017 release.
