“Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan and Superstar’Rajinikanth have helped us at the border of Bhutan,” says Ghibran of Uttama Villain fame. The composer is currently busy with the audio drive for the upcoming feature film, Chennai 2 Singapore.
Started his journey in Chennai, Ghibran and team have successfully crossed the border of Bhutan in their black Ford Endeavor and have launched the film’s second song Poda, penned by Sikkander and Anbukani, the feet tapping number is crooned by RJ Balaji and Abishek .
Apparently Chennai 2 Singapore team were blocked by highway officials at the border of Bhutan for not having a key document. This is a prerequisite when crossing national borders.
” We knew that we were in trouble, but when the security officers came to know that I had composed songs for Kamal Sir’s films like Vishwaroopam, Uttama Villain, Papanasam and Thoongavanam, they were thrilled.
We had a chat over a cup of tea and they were eager to find out about Superstar’s stylists performance in Kabali. They even listened to the two songs from Chennai 2 Singapore and loved them. I’m glad that Tamil cinema is well-received even in this part of the world”, says Ghibran.
The team is on the way to Myanmar to release the third song from Chennai 2 Singapore.
