‘Milky beauty’ Tamannaah has asserted that contrary to what was depicted in last year’s super-duper hit film Baahubali, she didn’t stand semi-nude in front of Prabhas, the hero of the film, during a romantic duet in the film.
The Pachchai Thee Neeyada song from the colossal hit film became very popular thanks to the lyrics, the melody and also to the manner in which Tamannaah flaunted her flawless skin, even appearing semi-nude in front of Prabhas during the song. S.S. Rajamouli directed the film which had Prabhas, Rana Daggubati, Sathyaraj, Ramya Krishnan, Anushka and Tamannaah in lead roles.
Rajamouli is now making a sequel to the film which he plans to release during April next year as a summer bonanza to movie-goers. The above-said sequence became very controversial at the time of the film’s release last year but the film’s super success made critics ‘pardon’ that sequence which was reminiscent of ‘James Bond’ kind of English films wherein the lead actors are shown to engage in physical intimacy.
Explaining her stand about the said song and her controversial appearance in the film, Tamannaah has said that when the song was shot, she didn’t actually stand semi-nude in front of Prabhas. “It has been shown like that but what occurred during the shoot was entirely contrary in nature; it has been shown so only for cinematic beauty,” the ‘milky beauty’ explains!
