Like his celebrated father-in-law and superstar Rajinikanth, national award-winning actor Dhanush also has the tendency of appreciating and lauding good work by other actors/technicians. Dhanush has revealed that he was in ‘tears’ after watching director Raju Murugan’s latest film Joker.
He has also appealed to his fans and movie-goers to patronize the film in a big way by watching it repeatedly in theatres. Released last Friday (12th August) in theatres across the State, Joker has been lauded by critics and movie-goers though it didn’t open as grand as a film starring a frontline hero.
Raju Murugan, who stunned movie-goers with his realistic portrayal of a love affair which brews between two visually impaired persons in his critically acclaimed Cuckoo in 2014, is back with his second directorial venture Joker which has an acclaimed theatre artiste in the lead. As always, ‘script’ is the hero in Raju Murugan’s Joker.
After watching the film, Dhanush has tweeted saying that “I’ don’t know whom to appreciate and how to appreciate; director, music director, actors/actresses: all have done great work. I was in tears after watching the film. Please watch it in theatres!”
