National award-winning actor Dhanush would preside over the function where actors Vijay Sethupathi and Sivakarthikeyan would also be present to mark the audio-launch of director K.S. Ravikumar’s upcoming directorial venture titled as Mudinja Ivana Pudi which takes places in Chennai on Wednesday (20th July).
Starring Sudeep and Nithya Menen in the lead, Mudinja Ivana Pudi happens to be the first film in Tamil as hero for Sudeep, a popular Kannada actor who impressed Tamil audiences with his antagonist’s role in S.S. Rajamouli’s Naan Ee a few years back. He later starred in brief roles in Baahubali and Puli.
K.S. Ravikumar, who directed superstar Rajinikanth in the 2014 hit film Lingaa, has directed Mudinja Ivana Pudi besides penning the story, screenplay and dialogues. The film has been made simultaneously in Tamil and Kannada and has music by D. Imman. Kamal Haasan was to release the audio of the film but he won’t be doing so as he has been asked to take complete rest for a minor fracture in the leg.
The crew is going ahead with the audio-launch on the scheduled date. Dhanush would be the special invitee at the event where Vijay Sethupathi would be releasing the audio-cassettes and CDs of the film which would be accepted by Sivakarthikeyarn, as announced by the crew.
