It is reported that actress Nayantara would be playing a pivotal role in her upcoming film titled Dora which would have no hero opposite her.
‘No.1’ in Tamil films for the past two years now, Nayantara has been winning many awards of late. She won the ‘Filmfare’ for best actress in Tamil films as well as the SIIMA awards for ‘best actress’ in Tamil and Malayalam films. Despite making public her love affair with director Vignesh Shivan, she continues to get film offers opposite top heroes.
Dora, to be helmed by debutant director Dass Ramasamy, would have music by Vive-Mervin and is to be produced on ‘first-copy’ basis by producer-director A. Sarkunam. Dinesh Krishnan would be the film’s cinematographer which is to go to floors soon.
Like she did in Maya and Nee Enge En Anbe, Nayan would go solo in Dora which would have no hero opposite her. The film’s major portions are to be shot in and around Chennai including Tidal Park, ECR Road and OMR Road. Harish Uthaman (remember him in Thani Oruvan) plays a dutiful cop while Bangalore’s Sulile Kumar debuts as the antagonist in the film.
