It is rumoured in Kollywood circles that Prabhu Deva’s upcoming film Devi(L) is the story of his former ladylove Nayantara!
Now popular in Bollywood as a film-maker who has made many super-duper hit films, Prabhu Deva returns to playing the solo hero in films after more than a decade. He has been paired up opposite ‘milky beauty’ Tamannaah in director Vijay’s upcoming film Devi(L) which is being shot simultaneously in Telugu, Tamil and Hindi versions. The Hindi version has been titled as Abhinetri.
G.V. Prakash Kumar and the duo of Sajid-Wajid are composing the music of the film jointly while Manush Nandan is the cinematographer of the film. Even as controversy rages about the script of the film, the film’s crew says on condition of anonymity that the script is similar to the real-life story of Nayantara, ex-flame of Prabh Deva, whose marriage with Prabhu Deva was called off at the very last moment a few years back.
The film’s script is billed as a ‘romantic horror’ film and has Tamannaah essaying dual roles of elder and younger sisters. The film’s audio-launch is to be held in a grand manner on 15th August in Vijayawada where former Kollywood and Bollywood ‘queen’ Sridevi would be releasing the audio-cassettes and CDs.
