Harris Jayaraj finally makes a comeback in Kollywood as he has been signed up to score the music of director Vijay’s untitled upcoming film which would star ‘Jayam’ Ravi in the lead.
Complaints surfaced in plenty against Jayaraj for demanding fee in crores and completing his assignments not in time. Though his songs were always melody in nature and he never failed in giving quality music, it was Harris’ attitude which resulted in him getting a ‘break’ from his work in Kollywood.
He now scores the music of Vijay’s upcoming film starring ‘Jayam’ Ravi. Harris has already scored music for two films starring ‘Jayam’ Ravi in Dhaam Dhoom and Engeyum Kadhal. Though both these films didn’t exactly set the box-office on fire, the music was a huge hit as all the songs were melodious and lapped up by music-lovers.
‘Jayam’ Ravi is presently starring in Bogan whereas Vijay is busy directing Prabhu Deva and Tamannaah in Devi(L) which is made simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi (with the title Abhinetri). After ‘Jayam’ Ravi and Vijay wrap up their present ventures, they would come together for a new untitled film which is likely to go to floors by the year-end.
Busy in Tamil films after a series of hit films last year and early this year, ‘Jayam ‘Ravi is has a few films lined up which would be directed by Shakthi Soundararajan, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Samuthirakani, his brother ‘Jayam’ Raja and now Vijay.
