The ‘muhurat’ of actor Ajith’s third film with director Shiva was held in Chennai’s Kelambakkam on Wednesday. It was a simple affair.
After the success of last year’s Vedalam and the 2014 hit film Veeram, the combination of Ajith and director Shiva has come to be liked by the former’s fans as well as movie-goers. As such, expectations are already high on their third film together, which would also be the 57th film in Ajith’s more than 20-year long career.
Satyajyothi Films would be producing the film which hasn’t been titled as yet. Anirudh Ravichander would score the film’s music while Antony L. Roopan and Vetri would be the editor and cinematographer of the film (respectively). Unconfirmed reports say that newbie Ritika Singh, a professional boxer-turned-actress, and Anushka Shetty have been roped in as the twin heroines in the film.
Kabilan would be penning all the lyrics in the film whose muhurat was held at an auspicious time at the Saibaba Temple in Kelambakkam off Chennai. Only director Shiva and a few technicians took part in the official launch of the film which is to be a stylish film on the lines of Ajith’s Billa and Aarampam. Ajith plays an intelligence officer in the film whose first schedule of shoot is to commence shortly.
