Kamal Haasan, who is ghost-directing his upcoming venture Sabaash Naidu, has released a still from the film whose shoot is currently going on in U.S.
Sabaash Naidu incidentally is the first film which brings Kamal Haasan and his daughter-actress Shruti Haasan together on screen. Made simultaneously in Tamil, Hindi and Telugu, Maestro Ilaiyaraaja is scoring the film’s music. The shoot of the film commenced in Los Angeles a few weeks back. After Rajeev Kumar (the director) took ill, Kamal has taken on the mantle of director.
Kamal has now announced that the film’s shoot has been wrapped up. Ramya Krishnan, who last starred with Kamal in the hilarious comedy Panchathanthiram more than a decade back, is pairing up opposite him again. Brahmanandam plays a prominent role in the film which is billed as a full-length comedy.
Madhavan has released a photograph (apparently taken on the film’s sets) showing Kamal’s looks in the film resembling the character of ‘Balram Naidu’ he essayed in his super-duper hit film Dasavatharam a few years back.
